Juan Manuel Mendiola Jr., born and raised in Brownsville, TX, discovered his passion for the arts at just four years old, captivated by a Mexican musical. Despite earning degrees in biology and nursing, his heart was always drawn to the stage. He graduated from Los Fresnos High School and pursued higher education at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he is currently working towards a theatre degree.

 

A year ago, Juan Manuel fully embraced his calling in acting, leaving behind a rewarding career in healthcare to follow his first love. His journey led him to collaborate with filmmaker Alberto Ornelas, solidifying a partnership through Five 11 Studios.

 

Now, as he looks forward to 2024 and beyond, Juan Manuel is excited about his future in film and entertainment, driven by his enduring passion and newfound opportunities.
